About the Practitioners
Practitioners listed through the South Carolina Homeopathic Association are independently practicing professionals who come from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds, which may include healthcare, wellness, or other related fields.
The listed practitioners have completed formal education in Classical Homeopathy, which typically includes multi-year programs covering homeopathic philosophy, materia medica, and clinical practice. Educational pathways and training hours vary by school and individual practitioner.
Practitioners listed represent a range of practice interests and client populations. Some work with individuals across the lifespan, while others focus their practices on specific age groups or areas of interest.
This directory is designed to help you explore practitioner backgrounds, experience, and self-described areas of focus so you can determine which practitioner may be the best fit for your personal needs. We encourage you to read practitioner bios carefully and reach out directly to practitioners with questions.
Practitioners are responsible for representing their own education, credentials, and experience, and for maintaining any continuing education or professional development relevant to their individual practices. The South Carolina Homeopathic Association does not certify, license, supervise, or verify practitioner qualifications or training.

What is Homeopathy?
Classical Hahnemannian Homeopathy is a holistic system of care that takes into account the individual’s unique pattern of symptoms, experiences, and responses. Rather than focusing on diagnosis alone, homeopathy emphasizes an individualized approach when selecting a homeopathic remedy.
Homeopathic remedies are traditionally chosen based on how closely they correspond to a person’s overall symptom picture. This approach is rooted in long-standing principles of Classical Homeopathy and differs from conventional pharmaceutical models.

Homeopathy is
often described as...
➤ Individualized rather than one-size-fits-all
➤ Focused on the whole person
➤ Traditionally gentle in approach
➤ Intended to complement, not replace, conventional medical care
Homeopathy has been practiced internationally for over 200 years and is used by individuals around the world. In the United States, homeopathic remedies are regulated as drugs by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, though regulation does not imply endorsement or evaluation of clinical effectiveness.
How Homeopathy Is Traditionally Understood to Work
In Classical Homeopathy, remedies are selected based on similarity between a substance’s traditional symptom profile and an individual’s lived experience of symptoms. This process is often described within homeopathic philosophy as supporting the body’s inherent self-regulating capacity.
Homeopathic remedies are prepared through specialized manufacturing processes distinct from conventional pharmaceuticals. Descriptions of how these remedies work are based on traditional homeopathic theory and historical use rather than contemporary biomedical mechanisms.
In Simple Terms
Homeopathy is an individualized system of care that aims to support overall well-being by considering patterns behind symptoms rather than isolated complaints. Many people choose to use homeopathy alongside conventional medical care and are encouraged to continue working with licensed healthcare providers for diagnosis, testing, and medication management.
